Colossians 1:28-29
28So we tell others about Christ, warning them and teaching them with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. 29That's why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ's mighty power that works within me.

ReplyDeleteI realise this has been inactive for awhile, but I'd just like to say thanks for attempting this! Such a huge task which you believe in (despite it being on hold), is hugely inspirational.
I work in nursing homes and one lady who is blind once told me that she regrets not reading the bible more and memorising it, so stumbling across this is even more of an encouragement for me to get into the Word more :)

I'm so glad! I'm still doing it - it's just a little more sporadic than it was at this point. I've slowly been learning not to take things for granted, and reading my Bible has turned into such a joy. Right now I've been reading it for a couple of hours a day and picking a verse or two to say to myself throughout the day. It's such an encouragement, and something easy to share with people.
