Easy

After five days of memorizing, this is much easier than I thought. Maybe it's because I've only been doing this for five days, or maybe it's because I'm beginning with Genesis, but memorizing one to three verses a day has been a piece of cake so far. (I think it's funny that before I start a project I tend to think it will be much more difficult as it is.) Granted, it has taken some integrity to make sure I take my sticky note with me all day and look at it occasionally, but it's not that hard! I hope some of you reading will join in with me. Make yourself some packing-tape-laminated-sticky-notes and get on board!

I do believe this journey will become more difficult the further I go, but right now I am very encouraged in that God has made me able. This is going to be awesome.

9Then God said, "Let the waters beneath the sky gather together into one place, so dry ground may appear." And that is what happened. 10God called the dry ground "land" and the waters "seas". And God saw that it was good.

Day 3

Genesis 1:6-8

6Then God said, "Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth." 7And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens. 8God called this space "sky". And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day.

Day 1

Genesis 1:1-2

1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
